  1. IMAGE CONVERSION UTILITY

  4. 1. What the program does...
  5.  
  6. Image Conversion is a true Windows Drag and Drop application.  It allows
  7. you to convert one or several images from one file format to another
  8. in one step!  Regardless of what the image format is, the Image Convert
  9. will convert it to the target image format.

  11. Formats supported are:
  12.  
  13. TIFF, BMP, TARGA, PCX, GIF, WPG, WMF, TIFF G3, TIFF G4, TIFF Mod Huffman,
  14. TIFF LZW, EPS, BMP Compressed.

  16. 2. How to use...
  17.  
  18. Start the application by double clicking the icon or by running it from
  19. the "Run" command in the Program Manager.  You will notice that the 
  20. program remains iconized.  If you double click on the icon, a usage
  21. message will appear.

  23. Using the File Manager, select the image or images you wish to convert.
  24. Don't worry about dropping non-image files.  The program will determine
  25. if the file dropped is a valid image file or not.
  26.  
  27. Once the files are processed, the program will display a dialog box 
  28. allowing you to choose to what format you want to store these images 
  29. in.
  30.  
  31. The converted images will be stored in the same directory as the original
  32. images.  If there is already a duplicate target filename, Image Convert
  33. will overwrite the file.

  37. a. Ability to delete a file from the listbox
  38. b. Ability to view the file before converting
  39. c. More file format support
  40. d. Add status meter bar when processing or converting files
